City Council Meeting

__________________________________________________________________________________ SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES Wednesday, March 27, 2024 Mayor Greg Kubarski called the Special Common Council meeting to order at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. All present stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Kubarski asked if this meeting received proper public notice to which City Treasurer Lisa Johnson confirmed that the meeting did receive proper public notice. Roll call was taken with Alderpersons Rick Hanke via phone-in, Leanne Beyer via phone-in, Tom Hotek, Mark Lankey, Pat Moen, Darrow Novy, Elizabeth Parish, and Randy Seeley present. Others present included City Administrator Josh Finch and City Treasurer Lisa Johnson. Motion by Hotek, seconded by Lankey to move into closed session at 7:02 PM. pursuant to 19.85(1)(f), Wis Stats: 19.85(1) (f) considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations. Motion carried. Motion by Moen, seconded by Lankey to return to open session at 7:40 PM. Motion carried. A motion was recorded in closed session but due to confidentiality; not revealed as long as reasons for convening in closed session continue. Once the underlying purpose for closed session ceases, the records of the meeting shall be provided to any person requesting access. Motion by Moen, seconded by Novy to adjourn at 7:41 PM.
