MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOBART CIVIL FIRE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HOBART HELD SEPTEMBER 9 , 2014 Call to Order: Mr. Drobac called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM, followed by the pledge of allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Mr. Drobac and Mr. Pouch. Also present was Karen Erler-Watson. Approval of the Agenda : Mr. Pouch made a motion to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Mr. Drobac. All aye, motion carried All aye, motion carried. (2-0) Minutes : Mr. Pouch made a motion to accept the minutes from June 10th, 2014 as presented, seconded by Mr. Drobac. All aye, motion carried. (2-0) Correspondence: None New Business: Mr. Pouch reported that the current new hire list will expire as of November 13, 2014. It was advised that the posting for testing be submitted to the newspaper as soon as possible. Interested applicants must currently be a paramedic and have obtained their Firefighter ½ certification. Old Business : None Adjournment: Mr. Pouch made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Drobac. All aye, motion carried.
