The Special City Commission Meeting of the City of Hollywood, Florida, was called to order by Mayor Levy on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 3:09 PM in the City Commission Room, Room 219, Joseph W. Watson Circle, Hollywood, Florida. 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call Present: Commissioner Caryl Shuham, Commissioner Peter Hernandez, Vice Mayor Traci Callari, Commissioner Richard Blattner, Commissioner Kevin D. Biederman, Commissioner Linda Sherwood and Mayor Josh Levy 3. D-2019-01 Discussion On The Results Of The June 6, 2019 Joint Meeting Between The City Of Hollywood And Broward County, And To Consider An Interlocal Agreement (ILA) With Broward County Pertaining To Further Analysis Of The Placement Of A P25 Communication Tower At West Lake Park And Circ Residences Sites. Dr. Wazir Ishmael, City Manager, provided an introduction on the events to date. Commissioner Hernandez arrived at the meeting at 3:12 PM. Andria Wingett, Assistant Director of Development Services, provided a presentation of events to date regarding the communication tower. Douglas Gonzales, City Attorney, provided additional information. The following individuals expressed personal opinions/concerns: 1. Anne Melby, 1625 Weeping Willow Way 2. Discussion ensued among staff and members of the Commission. Alex Gill, GM Selby Inc., City's Consultant, provided additional information via telephone conference. Mayor Levy thanked everyone in attendance and asked the City Attorney to work on the agreement for the next City Commission meeting as directed by the City Commission.
