CITY OF HORICON COMMITTEE OF WHOLE JULY 15, 2013 The Committee of Whole of the City of Horicon met on July 15, 2013. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Neitzel at 6:33 p.m. Alderpersons present: Hady, Marschke, Pahl, Miller, Plautz, and Wieneke. Alderpersons absent: None. Mayor Neitzel led the Pledge of Allegiance. Public Appearances: A resident appeared and discussed concerns regarding the City’s policy on tree trimming. The Committee reviewed a proposed ordinance which would allow and regulate the keeping of chickens in City limits. The document was reviewed line by line with the Committee suggesting changes. Numerous changes were made to the document and lengthy discussion was held. The City Clerk-Treasurer was instructed to make the changes as recommended by the Committee and submit the document to City Attorney Plier for his review. Once Plier has reviewed the document it will be brought back to the Committee of Whole. Non-Action Discussion: None. Motion by Wieneke, second by Plautz, to adjourn. All voting AYE.
