CITY OF HORICON PERSONNEL & FINANCE JANUARY 28, 2013 The Personnel & Finance Committee met in Special Session with Chairperson Hady presiding. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members present: Susan Hady, Matthew Wieneke and Dwight Plautz. Others in attendance: Chief Adamson, City Clerk Kristen Jacobson, & Mayor Neitzel. Discussion on Police Department vacancy. Motion by Plautz, second by Wieneke, to hire a Lieutenant to replace the position of Sergeant with a base wage from $56,000-$58,000 and a one year probationary period. All voting AYE. Motion carried. Discussion on considering compensation of public employees. Motion by Plautz, seconded by Wieneke, to increase the wage of Police Administrative Assistant to $14.79/hr. All voting AYE. Motion carried. Discussion on 2013 Compensation for all City employees. Motion by Plautz, seconded by Wieneke, to set the 2013 compensation for all City employees to a flat rate of 2.96% per CPI.
