CITY OF HORICON PERSONNEL & FINANCE JJNE 4, 2013 The Personnel & Finance Committee met in Special Session with Chairperson Hady presiding. The meeting was called to order at 5:58 p.m. Members present: Susan Hady, Matthew Wieneke and Dwight Plautz. Others in attendance: Chief Adamson, Kristen Jacobson. Absent: Dave Magnussen, excused. Discussion was held regarding employee residency requirements. Motion by Plautz, second by Wieneke, to recommend extending the employee residency requirements to a 15 mile radius at the city limits for non- representative City employees. All voting AYE. Motion Carried. Discussion was held regarding the Crossing Guard job description/title. Motion by Wieneke, second by Plautz, to recommend changing the title of Crossing Guard to Community Service Liaison to include miscellaneous responsibilities such as issuing parking tickets etc., 2-3 days a week averaging 10 hours a week throughout the year. All voting AYE. Motion Carried. Non-Action Discussion: Chief Adamson discussed the Horicon School District of wanting more presence of our Police and will donate up to $10,000 in funds. There will be more discussion on the Horicon School District Agenda this month. Motion by Hady, second by Wieneke, to adjourn. All voting AYE.
