City of Horicon PERSONNEL & FINANCE May 15, 2024 The Personnel & Finance Committee met in regular session with Chairperson Frami presiding. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members Present: Frami and Bandsma. Members Absent: Schmitz. Public Appearances: None. Motion by Bandsma, second by Frami, to approve the April 15, 2024, minutes. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Frami, second by Bandsma, to approve Police Chief salary increase up to $93,000 to be reviewed by Council with compensation from similar communities. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Bandsma, second by Frami, to approve the changes to Chapter 500, Trees and Shrubs of the City Code of Ordinances relating to duties of Tree Board and time frames of receipts of notice and intent pending confirmation of changes prior to Council. All voting Aye. Motin carried. Motion by Bandsma, second by Frami, to approve the purchase of phosphorus removal chemical in the amount of $49,682.00. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Frami, second by Bandsma, to approve April payables in the amount of $1,932,759.59. All voting Aye. Motion carried.
