HORTONVILLE/HORTONIA FIRE DISTRICT BOARD FIRE DISTRICT MEETING 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 9, 20234 700 W. Nye St, Hortonville, WI MINUTES 1. Roll Call a. Roll call: Tom Banker, Jim Moeller, Andy Moeller (by phone), Nancy Willenkamp, Mike Bellile 2. Fire/EMS 2024 budget to date a. Fire budget was presented and discussed b. EMS budget was not available but will be forwarded later 3. Fire/EMS 2024 calls to date a. Fire calls; 80 (average) b. EMS calls; 183 (up slightly) 4. Fire/EMS 2025 budget discussion a. Fire Department budget will remain the same as last year 1. JIm questioned this and Jack informed us that our truck maintenance will be less this year b. EMS budget will raise $3,300 1. Training for and equipping new members will be part of the increase 5. Pump/Tender DIscussion a. Truck is ordered and paid for with a due date of October 2028 6. Open Forum a. Mike Bellile reported on the Senior Autumn fest. Great turnout with lunch and good information. b. DIscussion on our fire department drone 1. 12 firemen are trained 2.
