VILLAGE OF HORTONVILLE Senior Activities Committee Meeting Minutes Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 12:00 pm (feel free to bring your lunch) Community Room of Municipal Building 531 N. Nash Street Call to Order – Pat Lund - Moe called the meeting to order at 12:06 on October 17, All members were present Introductions as needed. Agenda Changes – None. Approval of September 12, meeting minutes. Motion [Mueller, Gorski] to approve minutes of September 12. 6 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried. Thank you cards for speakers and donors (signed during meeting) Review of activities since last meeting September 16th: Potluck/Birthday with Family Feud October 8th: Autumn Fest (separate agenda item below) October 14th: Coffee and Conversation Upcoming Events: October 21: Combined Potluck and Birthday Party – Clerk’s office will speak on voting October 22: Assembling Halloween bags at Care Partners November 11: Coffee and Conversation, Greeting Cards November 18: Birthday/Potluck combined, Stalag Hortonville December 2: Potluck & Games December 9: Coffee and Conversation – Jenelle from massage therapy? December 16: Holiday Party – 4:00 – Subway, Alley Cat and cookies November & December Calendars: Senior Autumn Fest Overall, it went very well; food was well received, location was well received, booth fair had a number of participants, the only issue was enough space for them all. Budget came in ahead, so we are in the plus. The program was well received as were the door prizes. Items for future agendas Community Center Field Trips – Brainstorming opportunities closer and further from Hortonville. Holiday Party Future meeting dates: November 14th and December 12th Adjourn Motion [Mueller, Gorski] to adjourn. Unanimous voice vote.
