HORTONVILLE/HORTONIA FIRE DISTRICT BOARD​ FIRE DISTRICT MEETING 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 8, 2025 700 W. Nye St, Hortonville, WI MINUTES 1.​ Call to order a.​ Roll call: Tom Banker, Jim Moeller, Andy Moeller, Nancy Willenkamp, Mike Bellile, Dennis Clegg 2. Fire/EMS 2025 budget to date a.​ Both budgets were presented and discuss 3. Fire/EMS 2025 calls to date a.​ Fire calls; 47 (down) b.​ EMS calls; 152 (average) 4. Discuss battery operated extrication equipment a.​ Jack reported that we purchased a Holmatro battery operated jaws, spreader and ram unit. b. The Homatro unit was purchased over two other units due to past ​ ​ performance with our gas operated model, fair pricing and it works under ​ ​ Water. ​ c. Our old unit is installed in unit 23 for back up. ​ d. Unit will be paid for with fundraising money and equipment fund if needed. 5. Open Forum a. There was discussion on the trailer house fire on Gaigg Ln. 6. Adjourn a.​ MTA: Jim Moeller b. 2nd: Mike Bellile c.
