HORTONVILLE/HORTONIA FIRE DISTRICT BOARD​ ​ ​ ​ ​ FIRE DISTRICT MEETING 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 8, 2025 700 W. Nye St, Hortonville, WI MINUTES 1.​ Call to order a.​ Roll call: Tom Banker, Jim Moeller, Andy Moeller, Mike Bellile, Dennis Clegg 2. Fire/EMS 2025 budget to date a.​ Both budgets were presented and discuss 3. Fire/EMS 2025 calls to date a.​ Fire calls; 71 (average) b.​ EMS calls; 219 (down from 251 in 2024) 4. Discussed 2026 budget a.​ Jack presented the 2026 budget stating that it would be the same as last year. However, with the age of the building we will need to look at budgeting for additional building repairs in the future. 5. Discuss needed driveway repairs a.​ Jack informed us that needed repairs to the front driveway was estimated at $45,000. b.​ This would include removing the old blacktop, raising the grade for better runoff and resurfacing the driveway. 6. Open Forum a.​ We discussed the continuing calls to Tyson Foods and were told by Jack that the Village is billing them for the calls. 6. Adjourn a.​ MTA: Jim Moeller b. 2nd: Mike Bellile c.
