Introduction of Guests 5. OLD BUSINESS: A. PowerPoint of City Trails System: Kathleen presented a PP of the city trails system for the benefit of new members who may or may not be aware of all the trails we have in development. A thorough review of the Hot Springs Creek Greenway and all park trails along with Stokes Creek Greenway, Northwoods, Southwest Trail, and Gulpha Creek Greenway helped committee members to understand how the trails will, one day, connect to provide alternate transportation to Hot Springs residents and visitors. B. Tranquility Update and set date for dedication: Alix volunteered to contact artist Bryan Massey to see when he will be available to attend the dedication of the garden. She will send the information to Anthony to coordinate a date with the City Manager and Board members. Brian Fisher and the Landscape crew have installed the antique benches, donated by the Staffords, along with the entry sign and shrubbery. C. Sculpture Installation Updates: Anthony shared information regarding the installation delays due to waiting for other departments to have an open time on their schedules. Dale suggested that the Lion and Ballerina could be installed at ground level and no need to create a plinth for them to stand on. Anthony said he would check with Larry Golden and the Parks Maintenance crew about doing that. The Car, donated by the Blackwelders, has not yet been installed but the plinth, a steel racetrack, is currently being built. D. Fundraising Suggestions: None. 6. Arts Advisory Committee comments: Nan asked if Parks could provide a side-by-side to allow her and any other member interested to tour the greenway art. Anthony set the date: Mon, 4/3, 10AM. 7.
