Call To Order Chair Caputo called to order the regularly scheduled meeting of the Architectural & Historic Board of Review of the City of Hudson at 7:30 p.m., in accordance with the Sunshine Laws of the State of Ohio, O.R.C. Section 121.22. II. Roll Call Present: 5 - Mr. Anzevino, Mr. Caputo, Mr. Funyak, Ms. Marzulla and Mr. Workley Absent: 2 - Mr. Ray and Mr. Reid III. Appointment of Alternate to Design Subcommittee for Development in Districts 6 and 8 Ms. Marzulla nominated Mr. Avenzino as alternate to the Industrial Design Subcommittee for Districts 6 and 8. The nomination was seconded by Mr. Workley and passed by the following vote: Aye: 4- Mr. Anzevino, Mr. Caputo, Ms. Marzulla and Mr. Workley Abstain: 1- Mr. Funyak IV. Public Comment Chair Caputo noted City Council approved changes to the Land Development Code which eliminated the Historic District Subcommittee so that the full AHBR will make motions regarding the Historic District. Chair Caputo opened the meeting to public comments for anyone wanting to address the Board. There were no comments. Old Business There was no Old Business. VII. New Business A. AHBR 22-79 2669 Pickerington Way Addition (Attached Garage) Attachments: 2669 Pickerington Way Ms. Schrenk introduced the application by describing the project and reviewing the staff comments. Ms. Amanda Fort, noted the entire wall of siding will be replaced, described the new brick which will infill the present door and spoke of attempting to reuse the old brick. The Board and applicant discussed the proposed brick specifications, the applicant and staff will work on the specifications. A motion was made by Ms. Marzulla, seconded by Mr. Workley, that this AHBR Application be approved with staff approving the brick specifications. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Mr. Anzevino, Mr. Caputo, Mr. Funyak, Ms. Marzulla and Mr. Workley B. AHBR 22-82 6191 Paderborne Drive Addition (Two-Car Garage Attached, Rear Patio) Attachments: 6191 Paderborne Drive Ms. Schrenk introduced the application by describing the project and reviewing the staff comments. Ms. Rebecca Pantuso and Mr. Derek Everson, Pantuso Architecture, noted that the garage doors were purchased, as displayed for the Board, prior to the plans being completed; the remainder of the project was designed to complement the doors. Ms. Pantuso distributed the site plan to the Board showing 25-feet between the fire pit and patio and will submit additional pictures to staff. A motion was made by Mr. Workley, seconded by Ms. Marzulla, that this AHBR Application be approved. Other Business A. AHBR 1-26-22 Minutes of Previous Architectural & Historic Board of Review Meeting: January 26, 2022 Attachments: AHBR Minutes January 26, 2022 - draft A motion was made by Ms. Marzulla, seconded by Mr. Workley, that the January 26, 2022, Minutes be approved as amended. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Mr. Anzevino, Mr. Caputo, Mr. Funyak, Ms. Marzulla and Mr. Workley IX. Staff Update Ms. Schrenk noted: The LDC changes went into effect February 3, 2022 and she will report any administrative Historic District approvals to the Board. X. Adjournment A motion was made by Ms. Marzulla, seconded by Mr. Workley, that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried by an unanimous vote.
