MINUTES OF PRE -COUNCIL MEETING
CITY OF HUEYTOWN, ALABAMA
TUESDAY, MAY 24, 2022
The City Council of the City of Hueytown met at 5: 30P. M. in the Council Chamber
meeting room at the City of Hueytown City Hall on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
The meeting was called to order with Council President Pickens and Council
members Hurliman and Wright present and Zinnerman and Jacks being absent.
Mayor Ware was present during the Pre -Council meeting and the City Attorney, --
Charlie Waldrep, of Waldrep Stewart 8s Kendrick, LLP. was present. There were
approximately nine individuals in the audience.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss general municipal business and review
the City Council agenda.

A regular meeting of City Council of the City of Hueytown, Alabama was held in the
Council Chamber of Hueytown City Hall on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

CALL TO ORDER, INVOCATION, ROLL CALL AND MEDIA RECOGNITION
The meeting was called to order at 6: 04P. M. with approximately Eight -teen
individuals in the audience. The invocation was given by Council member Pickens,
followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Upon roll call, with Council members Pickens, Wright and Hurliman were present.
Council Members Zinnerman and Jacks were absent. Council President Pickens
presided over the meeting. Mayor Ware was present and the City Attorney, Charlie
Waldrep, of Waldrep Stewart 8s Kendrick, LLP. was present.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Council member Hurliman moved, seconded by Council member Wright, that the
minutes of the Pre -Council and the Regular Council Meeting held Tuesday, May 10,
2022 be approved

The Mayor welcomes everyone who took the time to attend the meeting this evening.
The Mayor spoke of the conclusion of the tremendous youth baseball season and is
grateful for all involved.
