City Hall Council Chamber, 114 West Higgins Humble, Texas Call to order. 1. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Public Hearing for consideration of the adoption of the 2017 Tax Year Proposed Property Tax Rate for the City of Humble, Texas. A tax rate of $0.225471 per $100 valuation has been proposed by the governing body of the City of Humble, Texas. This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that two public hearings be held by the governing body before adopting the proposed tax rate. All citizens are urged to attend and express their views at the public hearing on the proposed tax rate. 3. Public Hearing for consideration of the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2018 City of Humble Budget. This budget is estimated to raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $380,421, which is a 9.1 percent increase from last year’s budget. The estimated property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the roll this year is $114,384. 4. Ordinance 17-810 extending the Disaster Declaration issued by Mayoral proclamation on August 27, 2017 and continued by Ordinance 17-808 on September 3, 2017 in response to Hurricane Harvey. 7. Approval of a Development Plat of Tray Tec, a subdivision of 2.5468 acres of land, being all of Unrestricted Reserve “A” of Tray Tec, a subdivision of Record in F.C. No. 681598 of the H.C.M.R., located in the John M. Wilson Survey, A-940; City of Humble, Harris County, Texas; 1 Block, 1 Reserve. 8. Approval of a Subdivision Plat of TPG Will Clayton Replat No. 4, being a subdivision of 5.077 acres of land located in the Wherry B. Adams Survey, Abstract 95; City of Humble, Harris County, Texas; 1 Block 2 Reserves.
