Public Hearing for consideration of the adoption of the 2017 Tax Year Proposed Property Tax Rate for the City of Humble, Texas. A tax rate of $0.225471 per $100 valuation has been proposed by the governing body of the City of Humble, Texas. This rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback tax rate, and state law requires that two public hearings be held by the governing body before adopting the proposed tax rate. All citizens are urged to attend and express their views at the public hearing on the proposed tax rate. Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing of the City Council of the City of Humble, Texas will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the City Hall Council Chamber, 114 West Higgins, Humble, Texas.
