CITY OF JAMESTOWN CITY COUNCIL BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING JUNE 13, 2023 The budget meeting was called to order by Mayor Heinrich at 4:10 P.M. Members Present: Mayor Heinrich, Council Members Buchanan, Kamlitz, Schloegel and Steele, Assistant City Attorney Geroux, and City Administrator Hellekson. Mayor Heinrich stated the goal is to complete the budget process efficiently and he is hopeful that the proposed longevity and wage increases included in the proposed budget can remain in place upon completion. City Administrator Hellekson reviewed a portion of the 2023 projected and the 2024 proposed General Fund budget stating that the 2023 projections are based upon early estimates. Fire Chief Reuther and Police Chief Edinger provided information. The next City Council Budget Committee meeting is Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in City Hall. Council Member Schloegel moved to adjourn at 5:05 P.M. Seconded by Council Member Steele. Unanimous aye vote. Sarah Hellekson, City Administrator
