SPECIAL MEETING, JULY 25, 2024

City Hall, 102 3rd Ave SE, Jamestown, ND 58401
The special meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Heinrich at 5:20 P.M.
Roll Call showed the following members present: Mayor Heinrich, Council Members Kamlitz, Schloegel,
Steele, Toso, Assistant City Attorney Geroux, and City Administrator Hellekson.
Council Member Kamlitz moved a resolution to approve the request from Jamestown Country Club-Elks 995
for a permit to conduct an outdoor dance on Friday, July 26, 2024 in the Elks Club Parking Lot. Seconded by
Council Member Steele. Roll Call No. 1: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.
Council Member Steele moved a resolution to approve the North Dakota Forest Service 2024 Spring Tree
Equity (IRA) Subaward agreement and authorize the City Administrator to sign the agreement.. Seconded by
Council Member Schloegel. Roll Call No. 2: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.
Council Member Schloegel moved a resolution to award the bid to Advantage Electric, Inc., in the amount of
$675,000 for the Water & Sewer I & C Upgrades Project. Seconded by Council Member Toso. Roll Call No.
3: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.
Council Member Steele moved a resolution to approve the quote for Enterprise Sales for a new roof on the
South Side Fire Station in the amount of $39,500 to be paid from the Public Building Site Fund. Seconded by
Council Member Kamlitz. Roll Call No. 4: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.
Council Member Schloegel moved to adjourn at 5:23 p.m. Seconded by Council Member Kamlitz. Unanimous
aye vote. Carried.
