CITY OF JAMESTOWN
CITY COUNCIL BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
JULY 24, 2024
The budget meeting was called to order by Mayor Heinrich at 4:00 P.M.
Members Present: Mayor Heinrich, Council Members Kamlitz, Steele and Toso, City Attorney
Ryan, and City Administrator Hellekson. Absent: Schloegel.
Staff Present: Blackmore, Blinsky, Edinger, Fosse, Labor, Michel, Reuther, and Stroh.
Council Member Schloegel seated himself at 4:10 P.M.
Mayor Heinrich summarized the most recent changes in the most current budget revision to the
Council Members. City Assessor Stroh, CityAdministrator Hellekson and Fire Chief Reuther
provided information.
Council Member Toso moved to forward, without recommendation, to the August 5, 2024
Council meeting the preliminary budget as presented today with a 5.0% overall increase in
wages along with the any minor changes. Seconded by Council Member Schloegel. Unanimous
aye vote. Carried.
Council Member Schloegel moved to adjourn at 4:27 P.M. Seconded by Council Member
Steele. Unanimous aye vote. Carried.
