Beer Board Meeting Minutes September 02, 2025 at 5:00 PM Jefferson City Municipal Building 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:17pm. 2. Roll Call PRESENT Member Mitch Cain Member Kevin Bunch Member Ailene Combs Member Rocky Melton Member Sheala Purkey Also present were James Gallup, City Manager; Robert Burts, City Attorney; and Bettina Chandler, City Recorder. 3. Public Hearing a. Public hearing to consider an Off-premises beer permit application for Vapor and Smoke located at 1409 Russell Avenue There were no comments from the public. 4. New Business a. Consideration for an Off-premises beer permit application for Vapor and Smoke located at 1409 Russell Avenue Ms. Patel spoke to the Council about the permit application. The store has been in business for about three years. They are open from 8am - 10pm. They will be a responsible vendor. Motion made by Member Bunch, Seconded by Member Melton to grant the off- premise beer permit. Voting Yea: Member Cain, Member Bunch, Member Melton Voting Nay: Member Combs, Member Purkey The motion passed. 5. Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 5:21pm.
