For Next Meeting ●​ Discuss restructuring/ state of our committee ●​ Discuss Powerhouse Bridge options (fake plants, stars, sculptures) ●​ Discuss TOJ sign planting and fix up​ 6:00 | Call to Order & Adjustments Kyle calls the meeting to order at 6:00pm and asks for any additions or adjustments to the agenda, there are none. No public comment and last meetings minutes are approved. 6:10 | State of the Committee -​ Jo resigned from the committee so now we are down to four members. Talked about how to recruit more beautification members. Want to post more on Facebook and FPF. -​ Possibly rebrand as an Events Committee or Arts + Culture to gain more people. To discuss next meeting. 6:18 | Updates 6:18 Update: Storage / Shed -​ Lauren update: the shed we talked about last meeting would be too hard to put together. -​ Spitballed places we could store items: Lowe Lecture Hall, Lenway Lane yellow building, area behind the food shelf? -​ No final decision 6:20 Update: Cold Spring Mosaic -​ Kyle and Mary met with the village trustees, due to technical issues Mary had to call on speaker phone. -​ Trustees want to keep it very abstract, no flags, and neutral. -​ The tile needs to go on a backing and not directly on the stone, that is Mary’s normal process. -​ We just need to speak with the Select Board to greenlight the project. The grant is Animating Infrastructures, we are going for the $15,000 max. Adrienne to speak to the Selectboard and Kyle to attend. 6:26 Update: To Do List -​ Kyle still to have Rosemary purchase another light for the bridge. -​ Lauren updated the Google form for the Mini Grants, but hasn't promoted it yet. -​ Still need to collect lights and planters in town. 6:31 | Flowers 6:39 Welcome to Johnson Sign -​ Have to go to the State for the right of way -​ Needs rebranding -​ Should fall to the town to decide for upkeep, talk to the town about fixing up -​ Possibly go for the grant matching that the select board does -​ What is the right of way if we are to expand the planting area around the sign? -​ Blake to create a perennial mockup -​ Discuss next meeting 6:45 Donations -​ Lauren to ask if Oceanstate job lot does any donations. -​ Kyle to ask PriceChopper for donation of flowers. -​ Adrienne will mass email for donations. 6:48 Additional Planting -​ Blake approved for $100 seed spending -​ Decided to plant RR street -​ Decided that we should reverse our take on business planters. Promote that we will  provide a large planter with flowers for those who want it and will water them. -​ Need to propagate and divide plants at the Cold Spring and elementary school. Could possibly put propagations at the TOJ sign or save for the Library reconstruction. -​ Research some good fake plants for Powerhouse Bridge. -​ Adreinne to look into marble or art structure flowers for the bridge. 7:03 | Adjourn
