SPECIAL BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY COUNCIL CHAMBERS-CITY HALL JUNE 16, 2020-8:30 A.M. Roll call was answered by Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe and Chairman Jim Dazey and Board Member Don Gura. Others present were: Scott Derby, Jeremy McKinley, Lance Waters, Regan Ford, Katie Ritchie, Amy Arnold- NCD, Steve Garbacz- KPC, Doug Atz, Matt Riehm, Terry Longsworth, and Cindy Marple. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all in attendance. Petitions or Comments No petitions or comments were heard. Engineering Award Collection and Transportation of Municipal Residential Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials City Engineer Scott Derby recommended awarding go to Noble County Disposal, Inc. in the amounts of: 2021- $469,106.04 2022- $469,106.04 2023- $480,722.65 2024- $492,353.05 2025- $503,240.13 Board Member Don Gura made a motion to approve the five year trash contract to Noble County Disposal, Inc. with a second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays. WWTP Superintendent Mark Shultz requested authorization to pay BakerTilly in the amount of $3,500.00 for arbitrage work for the 2017 Sewage Works Revenue Bonds. BakerTilly will perform the next computation at the end of the fifth bond year (2022) and will perform computations every five years after that until the final maturity date. Board Member Don Gura made a motion to approve with a second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes- 0 nays. Motion to Adjourn Board Member Don Gura made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Chairman Jim Dazey adjourned the meeting at 8:35 A.M. _____________________________________ Kathren R.
