City Council Agenda Friday, May 8, 2026 at 10:00 am 380 Highland Avenue, Worthington, Ohio 43085 ~MINUTES~ 1. Call to Order Worthington City Council met in person on Friday, May 8, 2026. A quorum was established at 9:52 am. 2. Roll Call & Remarks Members Present: Pete Bucher, Joycelyn Dong, Glen Pratt, Rebecca Hermann, Amy Lloyd, and Maria Ramirez. Members Absent: Rachael Dorothy. Also Present: City Manager Robyn Stewart, Director of Planning & Building Lee Brown, Director of Service and Engineering John Moorehead, Management Assistant Riley Hoover and City Clerk Daniel Ruggiero. This meeting was an event dedicated to the grand opening of Worthington’s Recycling Convenience Center. Ms. Stewart, Mr. Moorehead, representatives from the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO), and the Worthington Green Team gave remarks recognizing the significance of opening this new convenience center, which accepts harder-to-recycle items like electronics, Styrofoam, motor oil, antifreeze, and even food scraps. This project, made possible in part through a SWACO grant, supports efforts to reduce waste and extend the life of the Franklin County Landfill. After the conclusion of the remarks, the agenda was completed in totality and the meeting concluded.
