Public Comments: None were given. Minutes of the meeting of June 8, 2020 were approved as presented. (T. Jansen/Nartker) Claims were reviewed and approved as presented. (Nartker/T. Jansen) Directors Report: Highlights 1. Reviewed the Appropriation Reports from the Clerk Treasurer for the month of June 2020. 2. Informed the Board that the budget process for 2021 has started. 3. The Board was given an update on projects that are underway. Vacation Extension for Susan Crosby was approved for 18.5 hours. (Button/Hand) Maintenance Report: Highlights 1. Painted West Beach men’s and women’s restrooms. 2. Painted the East Beach restroom / storage building outside and added mulch around the outside perimeter. 3. Cleaned up Park after storms. 4. Installed new tennis court rules signs. Kendallville Outdoor Recreation Complex Update: In Brett Slone’s absence Jim Pankop reported that tournament play is going very well and that the KORC is starting to make some money. Recreation Update: 1. Camp Wethonkitha is going well even after being off one week due to a Covid-19 case. 2. Upcoming events are up in the air due to Covid-19 concerns.
