ORDINANCE INTRODUCTION
1. Ordinance – Increase Maximum Number of Authorized Patrol Officers within the
Keyport Police Department
The Clerk reads the Ordinance by Title: ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF KEYPORT,
COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, NEW JERSEY, AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER III,
SECTION 3.4 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF KEYPORT

2. Application for a Social Affair Permit from Our Lady of Fatima Parish for an event to be
held on March 14, 2020 from 5PM to 8PM
3. Application for a Social Affair Permit form BPOE #2030 Keyport Matawan Elks for an event
to be held on March 14, 2020 from 8PM to Midnight
4. Request from Nicki Francis of the Recreation Committee to use Waterfront Park for an egg
hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2020 from Noon to 3PM (rain date of April 11th). Also requesting
road closure, assistance from DPW for extra garbage cans, access to electricity, electricity
turned on, five picnic tables, ten folding tables and eight folding chairs.
5. Request from Clean Ocean Action for Borough participation in the Spring Beach Sweeps
on Saturday, April 25th and the Fall Beach Sweeps on Saturday, October 24 th from 9AM to
12:30PM
6. Request from Kiwanis Club of Keyport for a permit to use Borough property, Fireman’s
Park parking lot, for a flea market to be held Sundays from mid-April through mid-
December from 8AM to 2PM.
7. Request for a waiver of vacancy fee for 1-3 Walnut Terrace received from Sharon Hayes
8. Request for a Raffle License from St. Joseph RC Church for an On-Premise 50/50 to be
held on March 14, 2020 from 5PM to 7PM
9. Request for a Raffle License from St. Joseph RC Church for a tricky-tray to be held on
March 14, 2020 from 5PM to 7PM
