BOROUGH OF KEYPORT IN ITS ENTIRETY

1. Letter received May 3, 2021from ICF inviting the Borough to be a consulting party on the Empire
Wind Project Construction and Operation Plan – response requested by June 3, 2021.

2. Letter received May 10, 2021 from ICF inviting the Borough to be a consulting party on the New
York Bight Lease and Right-of-Way/Right of Use Issuance – response requested by June 9, 2021.
3. Application for Use of Borough Property received May 11, 2021 from Lisa Savoia to use Waterfront
Park for an 8th Grade field trip/treasure hunt on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 (rain date June 17, 2021)
between 9:00AM-2:30PM. Certificate of Insurance Provided. Requesting waiver of the fee.
4. Application for Membership in Eagle Hose Company for Darnell McDonald received May 19, 2021
(subject to State approval) and notification that at the April 12, 2021 meeting the membership
accepted the resignation of Jessie Johnson as an active member.
5. Recreation Committee Program & Activity Planning Summary received May 20, 2021 for a Chalk
Activity event starting June 7, 2021 and ending July 10, 2021.
6. Recreation Committee Program & Activity Planning Summary received May 20, 2021 for Saturday
Morning Children Shows to be held at the Mini Park Stage – Puppet Show on Saturday, July 10th at
10AM and a Magic Show on Saturday, July 24th at 10AM.
7. Recreation Committee Program & Activity Planning Summary received May 20, 2021 for the
KeyportFest 5K to be held at Waterfront Park on Saturday, September 25th with pre-race registrations
to be held at Borough Hall on Friday, September 24th.
8. Letter received May 24, 2021 from the KBBC requesting approval or advising of the following
events:
Requesting use of the Mini Park from July 26th through August 30th from 6:30PM-8:00PM
for “Monday Night’s Dancing on the Bayfront”
Advising the Town-wide Yard Sale will be held June 12th from 9:00AM-3:00PM;
Advising they are working with the Recreation Committee on two family-friendly Saturday
events to be held at the Mini Park;
Advising the Farmer’s Market will begin June 10th on Thursdays from 2:00PM-7:00PM
(with the exception of July 10th and July 17th). Requesting blockage of a section of Fireman’s
Parking lot area;
Advising of plans to sponsor the Annual Car Show on August 19th from 5:00PM-9:00PM.
Requesting closure of W. Front Street from Broad Street to American Legion Drive.

9. Letter received May 12, 2021 from NJ DOT advising the Borough was not selected to receive 2020
Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA Set-Aside) Program grant funding requested for the
Green Grove Avenue Bikeways and Pedestrian Walkways Project.
10. Email received May 17, 2021 from Barbara Hilliard (Municipal Alliance Coordinator) advising of
her retirement effective May 31, 2021.
11. Letter received May 18, 2021 from the Keyport Historical Society advising the Society will reopen
its museum doors to the public on June 6, 2021 from 1PM-4PM.
