COUNCIL MINUTES November 10, 2020 The City Council of the City of Knoxville, Iowa convened in a special session Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm. via Zoom. Mayor Brian Hatch presided and the following Council Members were present: Megan Suhr, John Gotta, Dylan Morse, Justin Plum and Jyl DeJong. Staffs present were City Manager Aaron Adams and City Clerk Tricia Kincaid The meeting was a joint meeting with the Marion County Board of Supervisors. Marion County roll called; all board of supervisors were present. City Manager Aaron Adams gave a presentation discussing economic development and the city’s roll along with financing options the city is pursuing to help fund the infrastructure for development of the VA campus. Denise Hurt from Confluence presented valuations and slides of three different development options for the council to review. The County Board of Supervisors will work on a timeline to start the process of demolition.
