City Council

COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS The City Council of the City of Knoxville, Iowa convened in a Special Session on Wednesday, October 20, at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Brian Hatch presided and the following Council members were present: Megan Suhr, John Gotta. Dylan Morse and Jyl DeJong were present via conference call. The following staff members were present: City Manager Heather Ussery and City Clerk Tricia Kincaid. Motion by Suhr, seconded by Gotta to approve second consideration, waive third consideration to adopt an ordinance amending the code of ordinances of the City of Knoxville, Iowa by amending provisions pertaining to the compensation of the council; all ayes. Motion by Gotta, seconded by Suhr to approve second consideration, waive third consideration to adopt an ordinance amending the code of ordinances of the City of Knoxville, Iowa by repealing title 8, chapter 9, section 6, paragraph C, subparagraph 7 pertaining to fire water containers; all ayes.
