A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Neighborhood Housing, Inc. to provide an amount not to exceed $350,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant funding to support Operation Backyard, its minor home repair program. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with Highstreet IT Solutions, LLC to provide implementation services for Oracle Cloud Software in an amount not to exceed $374,520.00 for a total contract price of $2,474,020.00 (Requested by Innovation and Technology Department) j. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to accept, if awarded, a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program in an amount not exceed $606,071.42 with a 5% City in-kind match of $30,303.58 to support Community Risk Reduction Programming, administered by the Knoxville Fire Department. (Requested by Fire Department) l. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documentation necessary to apply for and accept FY2026 Discretionary Community Projects Grant/Byrne Discretionary Grant award, in the amount of $675,000.00, with no required local match, from the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, to support the Tennessee ICAC Task Force, to be used for expenses such as training, equipment, and software for the enhancement of Child Exploitation Investigation Support. (Requested by Police Department) m. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a grant award from the State of Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, in an amount not to exceed $450,000.00 for the School Resource Officer Program, with no local match, to be used for expenses such as training, equipment, salary and benefits for School Resource Officers at six Knox County Schools. (Requested by Police Department) 13. PROPOSED ORDINANCES ON FIRST READING n. An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. O-107-2019, known and cited as The City of Knoxville Zoning Code, to remove a previously approved planned district (C) designation from properties located at 0 and 3223 Valley View Drive, Viorel (Vio) Rotar, Applicant. (Planning staff recommended approval; Planning Commission Approved 11-0 Consent) (File No. 6-A-26-SU) (Council District 4) (Requested by Knoxville-Knox County Planning) o.
