KOHLER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY, September 7, 2024 Present: Erin Coppersmith, Librarian Megan Drevline, President Michael Wandschneider John Multer, Secretary Eileen Hilke, Vice President Absent: Lisa Greene, Superintendent Nicole Witwer Kya Diehl The meeting was called to order at 3:30 pm by Megan Public Comment: There was no public comment Minutes: The minutes of the August 2024 meeting were approved Invoices: Invoices for August were approved. Library/School: Erin thought the lawn in front of the building looks shabby. There was a question who cleans the outside of the windows. Erin will follow up with school. The library Is being asked to organize repair of student chrome book computers. Erin has contacted the school and they say they will take care of this in two weeks. Election of Board Officers The board elected officers to serve for the next year. Megan Drevline – Preaident Eileen Hilke – Vice President John Multer – Secretary Discussion of 2025 Budget The board discussed the 2025 budget. There was general agreement that the budget submitted by Erin was excellent. The budget will be finalized next month. The board will adjourn into closed session to approve salaries. New Business: The summer lit camp was very successful with record number of participants. The board thanked Erin for organizing all of the summer programs. The meeting was adjourned at 3:50.
