KOHLER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MEETING
WEDNESDAY, September 10, 2025
Present: Erin Coppersmith, Librarian
Megan Drevline, President
John Multer, Secretary
Nicole Witwer
Eileen Hilke, Vice President (via phone)
Kya Diehl
Laurie Lindow
Absent: Michael Juech, Superintendent of Schools
The meeting was called to order at 3:31 pm by Megan
Public Comment:
Mike Juech suggested that the agenda item of library school issues be changed library school
relations to eliminate negative connotations. The board agreed.
A donation was received from the Donna Sanders estate.
Minutes:
The minutes of the August 6 meeting were approved.
Invoices:
Invoices for August were approved.
Library/School:
Nothing to report.
Election of board officers
Results were Megan Drevline, President; John Multer, Secretary; Eileen Hilke, Vice President.
New Business:
Discussion of the 100th anniversary of the library which will be in 2026.
Erin provided progress on the 2025 library goals.
The library has started a Mahjong class.
Erin has setup a library account on Amazon.
The board discussed the 2026 budget as presented by Erin.
The board adjourned to closed session to discuss salaries.
The board reconvened in open session.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:52.
The next meeting will be on October 1, 2025 at 3:30.
