Business
1. Request for temporary signs from Sierra, 4029 State Highway 28 – This is an
additional request for 6’ x 20’ banners on the front of the store. Signs have
already been approved to advertise the new store. One banner advertising
coming soon would be displayed from mid-April to May 30. That banner would
be replaced by another advertising now open and up until June 30. Mike
Kitzerow recommends denying the second request for displaying banners at the
new Sierra store. – Motion by Tom Schnettler, second by Paul Bonack to deny
the request for temporary signs at Sierra, 4029 State Highway 28. Motion
carried.
2. Request from Kohler School District for temporary signs at Ebben Field – This is
a request from Kohler School District to hang 3’ x 5’ senior banners up at Ebben
Field to honor athletes participating in spring sports. There was a discussion
about how long the banners would be hung and for how many students.
Temporary signs can only be hung for up to 90 days and once approved by the
Plan Commission can be authorized by Mike Kitzerow in future years. The
number of banners approved for future years would depend on the number of
senior athletes. Motion by Tom Schnettler, second by Lee Gumm to allow senior
banners to be placed at Ebben Field inclusive of all schools on the team for the
sporting event only and to be put up and taken down again. Motion carried.

for a home addition and exterior remodeling. – The addition would be over the
garage as a second story addition not adding to the footprint of the home.

front porch posts and railing and limewashing the existing brick façade. The
proposed addition and remodeling were approved by the Kohler Co. Residential
