Village of Kohler Property Committee Meeting May 12, 2025 Chairperson Michael Wandschneider called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Roll call was taken: Michael Wandschneider, Brett Edgerle and Kelly Kasten were present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approval of March 10, 2025, Meeting Minutes – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Mike Wandschneider to approve the March 10, 2025, meeting minutes. Motion carried. Business 1. Request to Replace Swimming Pool Diving Board – Roger Murphy joined the meeting to discuss replacing the swimming pool diving board. The current board has is worn out. The village cannot buy a new board because the pool water level is 2” shallow and the 15’ depth is 4” short in length according to state regulations. Sheboygan Falls has offered to sell their diving board for $3,000. The Kohler School District has offered to pay $1,500 towards the purchase. Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Kelly Kasten to recommend the Village Board approve purchasing a diving board for $3,000 with the Kohler School District paying $1,500, contingent upon review by Village Attorney Mike Bauer. Motion carried. 2. Review and Recommend Resolution No. 2025-4, Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR) – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Mike Wandschneider to recommend the Village Board approve Resolution No. 2025-4, Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR). Motion carried. 3. Review and Recommend Simplified Rate Case Application for the Water Utility – Motion by Kelly Kasten, second by Brett Edgerle to recommend the Village Board approve the Simplified Rate Case Application for the Water Utility. Motion carried. 4. Review and Recommend Letter of Support for Town of Sheboygan Falls Local Road Improvement Grant Application – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Kelly Kasten to recommend the Village Board approve the letter of support for the Town of Sheboygan Falls Local Road Improvement Grant Application. Motion carried. 5. Department of Public Works Update – Mike provided an update of the Department of Public Works: • Planted 52 trees to replace trees that were removed. • Preparing the Village for Memorial Day. • This summer move the trail in Ravine Park.  • Survey the path around Woodlake to find lot lines. • Remove Buckthorn and reforestation in Lost Woods Park. • Painting fire hydrants. • Completed $16,000 in repairs to the bucket truck. • Need to replace the leaf collector engine, waiting for price.
