Village of Kohler Property Committee Meeting December 8, 2025 Chairperson Michael Wandschneider called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: Michael Wandschneider, Brett Edgerle and Kelly Kasten were present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approve Meeting Minutes from November 10, 2025 – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Kelly Kasten to approve the meeting minutes from November 10, 2025. Motion carried. Business 1. Review and Recommend: a) Purchase Ford F350 Pickup and Plow – truck will be purchased in 2026. Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Kelly Kasten to approve purchase of a 2026 Ford Super Duty F-350 from Ewald Automotive Group and a plow from Kraus Snowplows and Equipment for an amount not to exceed $80,000. Motion carried. 2. Discuss Recreation Committee Chapter 2.42 of the Municipal Code – the committee discussed revising the makeup of the Recreation Committee. The committee will meet on a more regular basis to develop recreation programs, review budget numbers and review success of programs. These findings will be reported to the Property Committee on a regular basis. Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by Kelly Kasten to recommend the Village Board approve amending Chapter 2.42 Recreation Committee, section 2.42.010, the recreation committee shall consist of seven members; five citizens, the Kohler Public School athletic director and the chairperson will be a village board trustee. Terms will be for two years, with initial terms staggered. Motion carried.
