Village of Kohler Village Board Meeting July 21, 2025 Chairperson Thomas Schnettler called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: Tom Schnettler, John Ewert, Mike Wandschneider, Brett Edgerle, Kelly Kasten, Tracy Lyons and Laurie Lindow were present. Village Attorney Mike Bauer was present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow, Shawn Splivalo and Cindi Gamb. Items of Concern Regarding the Agenda, Including Public Comment – none. Approve Meeting Minutes from June 16, 2025 – Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by John Ewert to approve the meeting minutes from June 16, 2025. Motion carried. Business 1) Presentation of Proclamation to Carson Duchow – President Schnettler presented a proclamation to Carson Duchow in recognition of his generosity for a donation to the Village of Kohler Recreation Department Chess Club. 2) The Finance Committee Recommends the Village Board Take Action on the Following: a) June Revenue and Expense Reports, Bank Reconciliation and Journal Entries – Motion by John Ewert, second by Mike Wandschneider to approve the June Revenue and Expense reports, bank reconciliation and journal entries. Motion carried. b) Temporary Class “B” License for KPAL for September 13, 2025 – Motion by John Ewert, second by Tracy Lyons to approve a Temporary Class “B” license for KPAL for September 13, 2025. Motion carried. 3) The Planning Commission Recommends the Village Board Take Action on the Following: a) Approve Request from Kohler Co. for a Building Permit for Sports Core Pickleball Expansion – Motion by Tom Schnettler, second by Mike Wandschneider to approve the request from Kohler Co. for a building permit for Sports Core pickleball expansion. Motion carried. 4) Appoint Tourism Promotion and Development Committee Member – Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by John Ewert to approve the appointment of Justin Gephart to the Tourism Promotion and Development Committee to replace Ruben Cambero Sedano.
