Village of Kohler Village Board Meeting June 16, 2025 Chairperson Thomas Schnettler called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: Tom Schnettler, John Ewert, Mike Wandschneider, Brett Edgerle, Kelly Kasten, Tracy Lyons and Laurie Lindow were present. Village Attorney Mike Bauer was present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow, Gary Lindow, Shawn Splivalo and Cindi Gamb. Items of Concern Regarding the Agenda, Including Public Comment – none. Approve May 19, 2025, Meeting Minutes – Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by John Ewert to approve the May 19, 2025, meeting minutes. Motion carried. Business 1) The Finance Committee Recommends the Village Board Take Action on the Following: a) Temporary Class B Beer License for Kohler Fire Department for July 5, 2025 – Motion by John Ewert, second by Mike Wandschneider to approve a Temporary Class B Beer License for Kohler Fire Department for July 5, 2025. Motion carried. b) May Revenue and Expense Reports, Bank Reconciliation and Journal Entries – Motion by John Ewert, second by Kelly Kasten to approve the May Revenue and Expense Reports, bank reconciliation and journal entries. Motion carried. 2) Discuss and Approve Fire Department Village Board Member Champion – included in the Fire Department annual report was a recommendation to have one or two Village Board members be champions to review the County Wide Fire-EMS Sustainability Analysis and report to the Village Board on a quarterly basis. John Ewert and Mike Wandschneider volunteered to be champions for the Fire Department. 3) Appoint Library Board Members – Motion by Tom Schnettler, second by Mike Wandschneider to appoint John Multer and Eileen Hilke to the Library Board for a 3-year term ending July 2028. Motion carried.
