The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Craig Walters at 8:38 a.m. Advisory Board Members present: Craig Walters, Micky Rehm, and Marianne Stark. City Representative present: Secretary Natalie Hiatt. Others present: Fang Wang, Ken Valmonte, and Francisco Ramirez. 2. CALENDAR Beer Walk – Saturday, October 15, 2022 Heart of the Foothills Open Streets – Sunday, April 23, 2023 3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES It was moved by Ms. Rehm and seconded by Ms. Stark to approve the minutes of July 11, 2022 and August 1, 2022. Motion carried by a 3-0 vote. 4. NEW BUSINESS A. Board Vacancy – One application was received from George Henderson of Henderson Insurance. It was moved by Ms. Stark and seconded by Ms. Rehm to recommend approval by the City Council. Motion carried by a 3-0 vote. B. Transfer to Association – Continued to the next meeting 5. CONTINUED BUSINESS A. Beer Walk Update – Ms. Rehm stated that more sponsors are needed, Russ has secured 15 breweries, and Roberta of the Village Inn will order the paper good supplies. B. Marketing (Micky Rehm): The Old Town Instagram has been suspended. Ms. Rehm will investigate further and try to have it re-instated. D. Chamber Report (Leah Skinner): None E.
