CITY OF LACONIA – CITY COUNCIL MEETING

7/7/2022 – Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Hosmer called the meeting to order at 4:49pm
2. ROLL CALL
City Manager Scott Myers called the roll of the following Councilors: Councilor Cheney,
Councilor Soucy, Councilor Lipman, Councilor Haynes, Councilor Hamel, and Councilor Felch
Mayor Hosmer confirmed that all Councilors were in attendance and a quorum was established.
3. NON-PUBLIC SESSION
Councilor Felch moved, seconded by Councilor Soucy, to enter into non-public session under the
provisions of RSA 91-A:3 II (b), the hiring of any person as a public employee.

The Council entered non-public session at 4:50 pm
Others present: City Manager Scott Myers, Finance Director Glenn Smith, Carol Granfield,
MRI, candidates for the position of City Manager
Mayor Hosmer and members of the Council interviewed candidates for the position of City
Manager.
Mayor Hosmer announced that he would need to leave the meeting at 7:00pm
Councilor Lipman moved, seconded by Councilor Soucy, to reconvene the public session at 7:18pm.
Motion passed by unanimous vote.
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being no other business the meeting was adjourned by Councilor Haynes at 7:18pm

person as a public employee.
Please note that the sole purpose of this meeting is for the City Council to enter
into a non-public meeting per RSA 91-A:3, II (b) as noted above. Other than the
public roll call vote to enter into non-public session, it is not anticipated that there
will be any additional public agenda items that will occur. There will be no
opportunity for public input, and no action will be taken by the City Council.
5. ADJOURNMENT
