CITY COUNCIL - APPOINTMENTS SUBCOMMITTEE NOVEMBER 25, 2025 - 2:30 PM LACONIA CITY HALL, ROOM 200B 11/25/2025 - Minutes 1. CALL TO ORDER Councilor Soucy, Chair of the Appointments Subcommittee, called the meeting to order at 2:30 pm. 2. SALUTE TO THE FLAG Councilor Soucy led the Salute to the Flag. 3. RECORDING SECRETARY Nancy Brown, Recording Secretary 4. ROLL CALL Councilor Robert Soucy (Chair), Councilor Mark Haynes and Councilor Bruce Cheney were in attendance. A quorum was established. 5. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE Nancy Brown, Recording Secretary and Administrative Assistant to the City Manager. 6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS A motion was made by Councilor Soucy to approve the minutes of July 31, 2025. The motion was seconded by Councilor Haynes. The motion was approved unanimously. 6.A. Appointment Subcommittee meetings of July 31, 2025 7. Interviews of individuals interested in being reappointed or appointed to the City's Boards and Commissions The Appointments Subcommittee members interviewed the following applicants: Peter Nagel - requesting appointment to the Conservation Commission as a full member. Bradley Fitzgerald - requesting reappointment to the Building Code Board of Appeals as a full member. Tim Whitney - requesting appointment to the Zoning Board of Adjustment as an alternate member. Daniel Hooberman - requesting appointment to the Conservation Commission as a full member. Jacob Roy - requesting appointment to the Planning Board as a full member. Tarra Sorell - requesting appointment to the Zoning Board of Adjustment as an alternate member.  Daniel Hooberman - requesting appointment to the Conservation Commission as a full member. Jacob Roy - requesting appointment to the Planning Board as a full member. Tarra Sorell - requesting appointment to the Zoning Board of Adjustment as an alternate member. Roderick Cameron - requesting appointment to the Conservation Commission as an alternate member. Jane Whitehead - requesting appointment to the Historic District Commission as a full member. Marjory Wilkinson - requesting appointment to the Historic District Commission as a full member. Rebecca Gregoire - requesting reappointment to the Lakeport TIF District Advisory Board as a full member. 8. Any other business that may come before the Committee None 9.
