1. CALL TO ORDER
Called to order at 6:05
2. ROLL CALL
Deb Williams, Lisa Morin and Dean Anson were present. There was quorum.
Ruth O’Hara was absent.

10.I. Work Session
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Wildlife Action Cohort project to be installed along the
WOW trail in the area between the Messer Street boat ramp and Moulton Street.
1. The estimated budget was discussed and the following project items:
Five signs and supporting posts = $1,000
Plants in quart size pots $10 each estimate 30 pots =. $300
Soil for the pollinator garden $7 per bag estimate 5 bags. =. $35
Total. = $1,335

Deb Williams made a motion to round up the total to $1,500.
Lisa Morin seconded the motion.
Vote: Williams, yes, Morin, yes, Anson, yes
Motion passes unanimously
2. Fundraising ideas were discussed focusing on local businesses. Deb Williams volunteered to
prepare a grant application to the Bank of New Hampshire. Williams will request that the Bank fund a
portion of the cohort.
Anson made a motion for Williams prepare the grant application.
Morin seconded the motion
Vote: Anson, yes, Morin, yes, Williams, yes
Motion passes unanimously
3. Project Schedule was briefly discussed with three items being identified:
Cohort presentation to the Wildlife Action Plan committee about April 18, 2023
Public presentation April 22 (Earth Day)
Plant plants in gardens mid May (weather dependent)
Morin made a motion to establish that schedule.
Williams seconded

4. Rather than review and comment on the five sign topics at this meeting, Morin made a motion to
each person work independently making suggested changes. Electronic changes are to be circulated
by Tuesday, January 24. Williams seconded the motion.
