Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration Committee Meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia, NH May 4, 2023 at 11 AM. Present: Richard Smith, Elaine Morrison, Matt Soza, Patrick Wood, Trish Weatherbee, Judith Wright Excused: Linda Thanas We discussed our continuing planning for the celebration on January 14, 2024. Trish Weatherbee has tentatively reserved the Colonial Theater for $ 500. We discussed the creation of a flyer for the celebration. We agreed to look for a Native American opening to our celebration. Patrick Wood shared his visit with Linda Thanas and the Superintendent, Steve Tucker. More information to come next meeting. Next meeting June 1st at the Colonial Theater.
