Subcommittee of the Laconia Human Relations Committee For the Celebration of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr on January 15, 2024 Meeting Notes from June 8, 2023: Present: Judith Wright, Linda Thanas, Trish Weatherbee, Dick Smith, Elaine Morrison, Matt Soza, Patrick Wood. Location and time: The Colonial Theater in Laconia at 2 pm. Discussion: The sub-committee toured the theater as a possible site for the celebration. Results of this tour were brought to the entire LHRC on June 12t for discussion. The sub-committee will continue its planning for this celebration and will be meeting next on June 26th at 11 am at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia, 172 Pleasant St., Laconia.
