ROLL CALL:  PRESENT : Laconia Mayor Andrew Hosmer; Town of Gilford Selectman Dale Chan Eddy; Belknap County Commissioner Peter Spanos; Mr. Jason Larrere; Mr. Eric Tierno; Mr. Carl Dodge ABSENT : Mr. Steve Cotter GUESTS: Steve LaBonte, John Gorham, Dave Emerson, Dennis DiDonna, Lee Avery AGENDA: 1. Action on Approval of 5/16/2024 Meeting minutes. MOTION: Upon a motion by Mr. Tierno, seconded by Mr. Eddy, the minutes of the May 16, 2024, meeting were unanimously approved as submitted by the recording secretary. 2. Public Input: Mr. DiDonna inquired about the next steps required for providing a sub-station for the GFD on the airport since both the LAA and the GFD were in favor. A general discussion followed. 3. Review of Finances :. a. A discussion occurred regarding the finances related to the Crosswinds project. b. A discussion occurred regarding the forthcoming need to update/replace the computers in the manager’s office. 4. AIP Projects Update a. SBG-15 Obstruction Removal Project – the final drone verification flight was deemed unnecessary; therefore, the project is moving to close-out. b. SBG-20 Perimeter Fence Project – The project is on hold. c. CROSSWINDS Development Project – The work continues with installation of the fence in a new location.  2 5. Old Business – There was none. 6. New Business a. The New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. provided a Management Plan Work Order to prepare a Forest Management Plan on the 70 acre property located in the Town of Gilford in the State of NH, identified as lot 38-1 on tax map 214. (The wooded area under conservation easement north and east of Lily Pond Road/Route 11C.) The cost to perform the Work Order is $2,500. MOTION : Upon a motion by Mr. Spanos, seconded by Mr. Tierno, approval was granted for the engagement of New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. to prepare a Forest Management Plan on the property identified as lot 38-1 on tax map 214 in the Town of Gilford, NH at a cost of $2,500 by unanimous vote. 7. Other Business a. An Appointive Agency meeting is scheduled for July 8 to appoint a new member to the Laconia Airport Authority. 8. Next Scheduled Meeting: July 18, 2024 9. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman adjourned the meeting at 4:42 pm.
