Laconia Licensing Board 1/4/2023 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 12:00 PM by Chairman Rogato 2. Roll Call Chairman Jim Rogato and Captain Michael Finogle 3. Recording Secretary Hilary Young 4. Acceptance of minutes from previous meetings 4.A. Draft minutes from November 2, 2022 Minutes from the November 2, 2022 meeting were reviewed by the board and accepted as presented. 5. Licensing Review 5.A. RAF- Lakes Region Wavemakers Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve the raffle application for Lakes Region Wavemakers. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Discussion: Chairman Rogato questioned what the fees were for a raffle, Licensing Clerk H. Young stated they are $10. 6. New Business 6.A. ENT- Freddy Pike Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve the entertainment license for Freddy Pike. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Discussion: Chairman Rogato verified the location was at The Cake and verified what the fees are associated with a yearly entertainment license. 6.B. Event- Lakes Region Sled Dog Club Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve the event license for Lakes Region Sled Dog Club, contingent upon the approval with the Special Events Committee. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. No discussion was made. 6.C. Junk Dealer- Reeds Salvage Co 6.D. Junk Yard- Reed's Auto Wrecking Co Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve both junk dealer, Reeds Salvage Co and junk yard, Reed's Auto Wrecking Co. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. No discussion was made. 6.D. Junk Yard- Reed's Auto Wrecking Co Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve both junk dealer, Reeds Salvage Co and junk yard, Reed's Auto Wrecking Co. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. No discussion was made. 7. Other Business Licensing Clerk, H. Young, stated The Downtown Gym had to cancel the December 3rd event and would like to transfer the fees to their Spring event (date TBD). Chairman Rogato and Captain Finogle said that would not be a problem. 8. Unfinished Business 9. Adjournment Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to adjourn. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Adjourned at 12:06 PM.
