PL2023-0123MSP; 7 & 11 Academy Sq; Proposal To Change The Use To Processional Office With Associated Parking Applicant: Tammy Carmichael with Partnership for public Health addressed the committee. She gave a brief summary of what counties are served and that they have grown and would like to have all the branches under one location. They will be merging the two lots after the properties are purchased. There will not be a lot of work put into the building as they will make the current bedrooms offices. The public hearing opened at 2:33 PM. There was no one to speak for or against the application. If there are ever any high hazard uses proposed (hair salon, restaurant, etc.), the backflow will need to be a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow. Fire: Fire alarms and sprinkler systems to be annually inspected. T DPW: A WRBP commercial discharge permit may be required depending on the function performed in the space. Any changes to the bathrooms or kitchens will require a plumbing permit. Motion to approve the application with noted comments made by L. Loutrel, B. Crawford seconded. All F vote in favor. 7.II. PL2023-0126MSP; 125 Water St; Proposal To Change The Use Of The Warehouse To Indoor Dog Park Applicant: Sarah Steiner owner of Canine Connection addressed the committee. She explained this A would be an indoor dog park and similar to a gym where there is a monthly fee and classes. The public hearing opened at 2:40 PM There was no one to speak for or against the application. The public hearing closed at 2:41 PM R Comments: DPW: Dog waste can be disposed of in a landfill. Large quantities of dog waste should not be placed in city provided trash containers. Dog waste if it liquefies due to storing too long can neither be accepted at the transfer station nor collected at the curb. Dog waste can be disposed of through the sanitary D sewer system. Large quantities should not be run through the toilet. The parking lot requires 2 ADA parking spaces. Per Federal regulations the two spaces should be spread among the facilities. At least one ADA parking space is required to support the proposed facility. A plumbing permit will be required if a self-service dog washing facility is included or added later. A WRBP commercial discharge permit is required. See: The property is authorized 4 sets of containers (65 gallon trash, 95 gallon recycle) if the property does not have a dumpster. If the property has a dumpster, it is not authorized curbside collection service. Motion to approve the application as is made by L. Loutrel, B Crawford seconded. All voted in favor. 8.
