BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MINUTES September 12, 2023 Regular Session: The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the Common Council Chambers. Members present were: Gary Henriott, Cindy Murray, Amy Moulton and Ron Shriner. Absent: Eric Rody Jacque Chosnek, City Attorney, was also present. President Henriott called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag of our Country. MINUTES Mrs. Moulton moved for approval of the minutes from the September 5, 2023 regular meeting. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. Mr. Shriner moved for approval. Mrs. Moulton seconded. Passed. CLAIMS Jeremy Diehl, Controller, presented for Board approval of Claims in the amount of $4,001,386.08. President Henriott asked if there were any further questions and there were none. Mrs. Moulton moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. MISCELLANEOUS Special Event Request-Knickerbocker Saloon Chili Cookoff Isabell Garrison, Event Representative, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Special Event Request for Knickerbocker Saloon Chili Cookoff that will be held on October 15, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pm located on 5th Street between Columbia and Main Streets. Mrs. Moulton moved for approval. Mr. Shriner seconded. Passed. Special Event Request-World Communion Sunday Harry Mohler, Event Representative, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Special Event Request for World Communion Sunday that will be held on October 1, 2023 from 2:00pm-6:00pm located at the Big 4 Depot, Riehle Plaza, and the John T. Myers Bridge. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mrs. Moulton seconded. Passed.
