JOINT PURCHASING BOARD December 17, 2012 The Joint Purchasing Board met on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:30pm in the Board of Public Works and Safety room, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Tom Murtaugh, Jennifer Weston and Cindy Murray. Absent: Mayor Roswarski Also present were: Rick Morrissey, City of Lafayette Purchasing Agent Mr. Murtaugh called the meeting to order. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mrs. Murray moved for approval of the minutes from the December 5, 2012 meeting. Mrs. Weston seconded. Motion carried. BID OPENING Recommendation for Award-Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix Crushed Limestone Rick Morrissey, Purchasing Manager, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Notice of Award to US. Aggregates at the Delphi and Monon Quarry locations and Hanson Material Services as quoted for Crushed Limestone in the order of low bid received and up, depending on availability to supply. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mrs. Weston seconded. Motion carried. Gravel Aggregates Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Notice of Award to U.S. Aggregates- Swisher Plant and Purdy Materials as quoted for Gravel Aggregates in the order of low bid received and up, depending on availability to supply. Mrs. Weston moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried. Ready Mix Products Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Notice of Award to Purdy Concrete as quoted for Ready Mix Products in the order of low bid received and up, depending on availability to supply. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mrs. Weston seconded. Motion carried. Soils Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Notice of Award to Purdy Materials as quoted for Soils in the order of low bid received and up, depending on availability to supply. Mrs. Weston moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried. Mayor Roswarski arrived at the meeting at 2:33p.m. PUBLIC COMMENT There was none. With no further business to come before the Board, Mrs. Weston moved to adjourn. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried.
