JOINT PURCHASING BOARD October 28, 2013 The Joint Purchasing Board met on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 2:30pm in the Board of Public Works and Safety room, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Mayor Roswarski, Tom Murtaugh and Cindy Murray. Absent: Jennifer Weston Also present were: Rick Morrissey, City of Lafayette Purchasing Agent President Roswarski called the meeting to order. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval of the minutes from the March 26, 2013 meeting. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Permission to Advertise-Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix --Tentative Date for First Publication 11/21/2013 Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Asphalt and Bituminous-Coated Aggregate --Tentative Date for First Publication 2/13/2014 Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Asphalt and Bituminous –Coated Aggregate. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Road Salt (Battleground, Shadeland, W. Lafayette) --Tentative Date for First Publication 4/10/2014 Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for Road Salt. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion Carried. PUBLIC COMMENT There was none. With no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Murtaugh moved to adjourn. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried.
