JOINT PURCHASING BOARD October 17, 2016 The Joint Purchasing Board met on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Board of Public Works and Safety room, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Mayor Roswarski, Tom Murtaugh, Cindy Murray and Bob Plantenga Also present were: Rick Morrissey, City of Lafayette Purchasing Agent President Roswarski called the meeting to order. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mrs. Murray moved for approval of the minutes from the February 23, 2016 meeting. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Permission to Advertise-Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix --Tentative Date for First Publication 11/17/2016 Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix. Mr. Plantenga moved for approval. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Asphalt and Bituminous-Coated Aggregate --Tentative Date for First Publication 2/9/2017 Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Asphalt and Bituminous –Coated Aggregate. Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Road Salt (Battleground, Shadeland, W. Lafayette) --Tentative Date for First Publication 4/9/2017 Mr. Morrissey presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for Road Salt. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion Carried. PUBLIC COMMENT With no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Plantenga moved to adjourn. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion carried.
