JOINT PURCHASING BOARD October 20, 2020 The Joint Purchasing Board met on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:30pm in the Common Council Chambers, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Mayor Roswarski, Tom Murtaugh, Cindy Murray and Bob Plantenga. Also present were: Dave Payne, City of Lafayette Purchasing Agent Mayor Roswarski called the meeting to order. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mr. Plantenga moved for approval of the minutes from the April 8, 2020 meeting. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Permission to Advertise-Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix --Tentative Date for First Publication 11/13/2020 Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix. Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Asphalt and Bituminous-Coated Aggregate --Tentative Date for First Publication 2/12/2021 Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Asphalt and Bituminous –Coated Aggregate. Mr. Plantenga moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Road Salt (Battleground, Shadeland, W. Lafayette) --Tentative Date for First Publication 4/9/2021 Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for Road Salt. Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion Carried. PUBLIC COMMENT With no further business to come before the Board, Mrs. Murray moved to adjourn. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion carried.
